Welcome to the Practice

Lady Bay Dental Care, established in 1991, is one of the pioneers of private dentistry in Nottingham. We are a small practice of just one dentist and two hygienists so you can be assured of always seeing the same person and a consistent approach to your dental care. A rapport quickly develops with all our patients to ensure a friendly, personal service.

Our modern facility has been built to reflect the innovative, high standard of care that you can expect from us.

We have two guiding principles, namely aesthetics and minimal intervention. Integrating these two ensures you will achieve an attractive, healthy smile simply and at a reasonable cost.

Choosing a dentist that you can trust is a highly personal matter. One of the keys to a successful partnership with your dentist is to be able to match your hopes and desires (and even your fears!) to what is possible clinically. To this end, your first appointment will always involve a detailed examination and a full discussion of all the treatment options before deciding on a course of action.

Finally we are well aware that patients do not want to spend hours in the dental chair, so we continually search out and implement innovative techniques that enable us to deliver fast, efficient and reliable dentistry.

What's New?

Registered Dental Nurse wanted -10-11-2020

We are looking for a Qualified and/or GDC Registered Dental Nurse part time to join our small friendly team. We are fully computerised and looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic, professional and flexible person used to a high standard of patient care to work with our dedicated, friendly team. Experience essential. Initially this is a temporary post but with a view to becoming permanent. email: info@ladybaydentalcare.co.uk for the attention of the Practice Manager.

The Practice is open and we are busy treating patients with urgent needs and are contacting the large number of patients who have been waiting for treatment. This is a slow process as we are on restricted capacity but we are trying to ensure treatments are completed in 1 visit wherever possible with full treatment options and not a temporary measure, please be patient whilst we deal with the most urgent and those who have waited a long time first. Your call may be from an unknown number as our reception are working from home. All our staff are now working in surgery in an attempt to increase capacity and cannot attend patients who turn up at the door, please do NOT attend the practice without a confirmed appointment. Calls are being diverted Monday to Thursday 10.00am - 4.00pm, Fridays 10-1pm, to assist patients with dental problems. We know many of you have waited a long time for treatment but due to the high volume of calls we are receiving please try to only contact us if you need urgent dental advice, or need to update us on your condition. We aware some patients are finding it difficult to get through if they have a problem, please email if you can’t get through by phone. Out of hours our normal emergency arrangements are still in place for registered patients. WE ARE NOW TAKING BOOKINGS FOR HYGIENE APPOINTMENTS for Smilecare and Denplan patients who had these cancelled between March and July, these will be released on a week by week basis. If you are not on these plans but have a clinical need for a Hygiene appointment please contact us. We are not in a position to resume routine check-ups just yet. In order to ensure safe practice you are likely to have a pre-existing routine appointment changed, we cannot do fillings in these appointments so if you are likely to need this please contact us in advance. Please note that our preferred contact will be via e mail, all appointments up to the end of November have been cancelled to ensure we can accommodate our new working practices, all patients should have been informed if not then please ensure that we have your up to date contact details If you have an email address let us know at info@ladybaydentalcare.co.uk and we can keep you up to date.
